Michigan Hall of Famer Nicole (Edwards) Sifuentes, former Texas standout Kendra Chambers and recent Oklahoma State star Kaela Edwards discuss with DyeStat editor Erik Boal their unique experiences of racing at both Drake Relays and Penn Relays in their collegiate careers, reflecting on their achievements during a week in which both events are canceled because of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Sifuentes recaps the Wolverines setting collegiate records in both the 4x800 and 4x1,500 relays at the 2007 Penn Relays, Edwards reflects on running the fastest anchor leg on the 4x800 relay in Penn Relays history in 2016 and Chambers talks about winning the 4x400 at Penn Relays for Texas in 2011 and representing her country in the same event during the USA vs. The World competition in 2018. All three athletes also discuss the best virtual women's Distance Medley Relay lineups in the history of the Michigan, Oklahoma State and Texas programs. |
