Brian Musau, a freshman at Oklahoma State representing Kenya, won the fastest section of the men's invitational 5,000 meters in 13:13.29 to elevate to the No. 6 all-time collegiate outdoor competitor at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University's Cougar Stadium in Azusa, Calif. Musau held off Eritrean standout Habtom Samuel of New Mexico, who ran 13:13.34 to ascend to No. 7 in collegiate outdoor history.
