Ryan Smeeton, a senior at Oklahoma State representing Canada, finished fourth in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase final in a lifetime-best 8;20.06 at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Smeeton produced the fastest fourth-place mark in the history of the Division 1 final, as all eight All-America first-team honorees achieved personal-best efforts.
