Four Oklahoma State athletes punched their tickets to the NCAA Outdoor Championships Friday at the second day of the NCAA West Regional.

The Cowgirls sent five to the quarterfinals and the Cowboys added two more Thursday at the NCAA West Regional in Austin,Texas. Four Cowgirls advanced to the 800-meter quarterfinals and John Teeters ran a season best in the 100-meter prelim.

A trip to Eugene, Ore., is on the line this weekend at the 2015 NCAA West Preliminary Round in Austin, Texas.

Just a day after winning six championships at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, the Cowboys and Cowgirls both appeared in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association week seven rankings.

Chad Noelle defended his 1,500-meter title, Kirubel Erassa won his second title of the meet and Natalja Piliusina became the most decorated Cowgirl in OSU track and field history at the 2015 Big 12 Outdoor Championships Sunday.

Chase Ealey broke another school record and John Teeters cruised to a top-15 time in the world at day two of the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in Ames, Iowa, Saturday.
